Veteran Support Center Michigan is dedicated to helping you break through the red tape that surrounds this application process and helping you get the benefits that you or your loved one deserves.
We make sure all the qualifications are met before the application is submitted, and guide you through the entire application process at no cost to you. We will continue to help you before and after the application process, acting as your representative to the Department of Veteran Affairs. We can help you with any questions you may have.
The first step is to give our office a call so we can get some preliminary information to make sure the claimant is qualified. Once it is determined that the qualifications are met, we will send you our VA Packet to begin the process.
To make the most out of your interview, please be ready with the following information:
- The service dates of the veteran
- Dates of Birth for both veteran and spouse, if applicable
- Medicaid information
- Currently monthly cost of care (assisted living rent, home health, etc.)
- Current monthly income
- VA disability information, if applicable
